Stations of the Cross begin at 6:30 each Wednesday thru Lent in the Nave

Lenten Meal with Soup/Salad and beverages follow stations in the Parish Hall

       Lenten Formation:  
Adult Lenten Series: Finding the Sacred in Everyday Life. 
If your daily experience feels something other than “sacred,” you’ll want to join Father Tony in the Parish Hall during the six Wednesday evenings of Lent following Ash Wednesday (February 25, March 4, 11, 18, 25, and April 1) to discover and apply six spiritual disciplines for responding to our chaotic world.
You may attend Stations of the Cross at 6:30, followed by a lite dinner at 7:00, and/or join the evening’s program, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. The evening will begin with a video prompt from the series “Spiritual Literacy: reading the sacred in everyday life,” followed by table conversation and time to reflect.

     Lenten Children's Formation: 
On Wednesday evenings, following Stations of the Cross & dinner, children will mee in Children's Chapel - the children and youth of St. Auggie's are invited to participate in supporting Bethany Children's Health Center's adaptive Easter Egg Hunt. We will be collecting empty plastic Easter eggs for the hunt (they need 7,000!) and children and youth will be making Easter posters for the event during Adult Formation on Wednesday night. Be sure to wear something that can get a little paint on it!

Please plan to join us in the Parish Hall between services.  Our Vestry Members will be presenting the summary from our Holy Cow Survey results along with an update on the Search Process.  Snacks will be provided!

Preparing for Lent and Resurrection is a 12-week spiritual formation class designed to deepen our understanding through scripture, prayer, and guided meditation—especially in the seasons of reflection and renewal that lead us toward the joy of the Resurrection. The group will meet on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. for one hour, beginning January 5 and continuing through March 30.

Classes will be held at St. Augustine’s in Classroom 1, with a Zoom option available in the event of inclement weather. Participants will need to purchase a companion guidebook/journal, available on Amazon for approximately $50. All women of the Parish are invited to join the ECW on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 11 a.m.

Outreach at St. Augustine's is identified in many ways, by both financial support along with group and personal commitments.  Each month we will feature a Gateway Ministry that we support.  N2N is partnering with our Outreach budget to offer information and outreach opportunities each and every month on the 3rd Sunday of the month.  Unique service opportunities outside of our walls will be calendared in a separate event each month.

This event is on site at Angie Debo Elementary School for their annual Pizza and Bingo Party with Lots of prizes.

We have a sign-up for volunteers to go and participate!
